At Salty Paws Veterinary Hospital we keep a completely stocked pharmacy of the best veterinary medications and vaccines in the healthcare industry in order to treat your pet in the safest and most effective way possible.

In the rare instance that we do not stock a specific medication that your pet may need, our doctors can write you a prescription that can be filled at your regular pharmacy with your personal medications. In addition to our traditional medications, we stock a selection of the best flea and tick preventatives on the market and can work with you to develop the best treatment plan for your pet.

*If you are placing a request for a prescription refill, please allow at least 24 hours for your prescription to be filled. Prescription requests must be received on a weekday during our regular business hours while we have a veterinarian in the office in order to be filled. For more immediate assistance please contact our office at (757) 223-1900 and one of our receptionists would be happy to assist you

*At our clinic we have chosen to not refill request from any other online pharmacies. This is because we do not know where they get their products from and how they are handled at other companies. Our products are competitive in price, safe and mostly, guaranteed! However, we would be more than happy to fill your prescription at our clinic with a doctor’s consent or write a written script for you to pick up at your convenience.
