About the Role

Salty Paws Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our talented team in beautiful historical Yorktown and near Williamsburg, VA. Whether you’re a seasoned clinician or a new graduate seeking mentorship, this is your chance to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking, and compassionate animal hospital just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia Beach, and Richmond. We are two hours from our breathtaking mountains which are home to one-fourth of the Appalachian Trail, heritage music and art, regional wine and outdoor recreation.

What You’ll Do 
  • Provide general wellness, medical, and surgical care for small animals 
  • Build long-term client relationships rooted in trust and education 
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced DVMs and licensed technicians 
  • Maintain high medical standards in a positive, low-stress environment

  • A team-focused, client-centered attitude 
  • Interest in surgery, dentistry, or internal medicine a plus
